Corkscrew Car Livery for IRacing
“If I Cant Drive Fast, I Can At Least Look As Cool As Possible.”
I never had the intention of getting into sim racing. I cant even say I’m the biggest fan of cars. But one of my good friends convinced me to start IRacing by having me make Livery’s for his racing team, and then I fell into the world of sim racing. Around this time corkscrew at cedar point updated their front cars with an outstanding livery and I thought, “Well if it works good for the coaster why would it not work on a car!”
Since I am in school for engineering I am never Given opportunities to work on creative projects. So I have to Find projects of my own to Build my skills. I have been working with Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop for over 10 years, trying to find new projects to teach me how to use the program more effectively. I specifically worked on the car liveries so I could learn how to do texture and spec mapping properly

The While the Texture and Spec maps are made in photoshop, all of the logos are vectors that are made in Illustrator. There was not much documentation on the logos that appear on corkscrew so recreating them was a challenge at times. But the results of hard work speak for themselves.
